This festive season, we celebrate slow craft and our commitment to the handmade. We’ve reunited with the talented animation studio So Daze to create a series of charming felt stop-motion films, bringing to life the joy of gifting and the warmth of the holidays.
Set within our Edinburgh townhouse, the film follows a beloved Giant Schnauzer - inspired by our founders’ dog, Jess - and friends as they prepare for a magical Strathberry Christmas. Across three short films, the story captures the joy of giving and the enduring beauty of handcrafted gifts, featuring our signature Strathberry bags.

Much like our handbags, this project reflects a deep appreciation for craft, creativity, and care – using human intelligence over artificial intelligence. Every element - from the felt textures to the smallest details – was thoughtfully made to evoke the magic of the season and the artistry behind every Strathberry piece.
Creating the miniature sets and props was a true labour of love, taking over 290 hours and bringing together a team of eight global artists - all united by a shared passion for handcrafted storytelling.
We were fortunate to work with Halyna Shchava, whose background in both architecture and textiles allowed her to recreate a miniature version of our Edinburgh Townhouse with remarkable precision. To capture the natural gradient of the brickwork, the team blended shades of wool to create custom felt sheets, cut them into tiny bricks, and hand-placed each of the 400+ pieces one by one.
